# Warranty Policy — G F Electronics

## Summary

- **Standard warranty:** 1 year from date of purchase against manufacturing defects.
- **Service:** repair or replacement at a GF Electronics service centre (Ludhiana, Solan, Delhi). Onsite service possible for weighbridges and large platforms.

## Covered

Defects in electronics (indicator, load cell, display, keypad), mechanical defects under normal use, load cell failure within rated capacity, manufacturing faults in platform/cabinet/frame.

## Not Covered

Overloading beyond rated capacity; physical damage from impact or mishandling; water ingress beyond IP rating, corrosion, rodent damage; unauthorised repair or modification; wear items (rubber feet, batteries, covers); power surge / wrong voltage damage; tampered hologram seal; consequential losses.

## Claim Process

1. Contact us with a description of the fault.
2. Provide invoice showing purchase date.
3. Ship/bring the unit to the nearest service centre (customer pays inbound shipping; we pay return shipping of repaired unit).
4. Assessment within 5 working days; repair turnaround typically 7–15 working days.

## Weighbridges

1-year warranty on electronics (indicator, junction box, load cells); 6 months on civil/installation defects. Onsite service available within service territory.

## Out-of-Warranty

Paid repairs available at all service centres — contact for estimate first.

## Liability

Limited to repair or replacement of the defective product; no liability for indirect or consequential damages.
